In a prior year, while viewing one of my credit card accounts online I accidentally clicked a link that upgraded the card to a premium version in the product family that came with a much higher annual fee.
Maybe due to some glitch on my phone or Wi-Fi.
That began a frenetic burst of research to find out what features came with the premium version of the card.
As part of that I researched credit in more detail beyond paying bills on time equals good, not paying equals bad.
Should I go forward with the upgrade or call customer support to explain?
I ultimately allowed the upgrade to go forward.
Will such an upgrade make sense for you?
Spoiler alert: It may or may not depending upon card features and your individual circumstances.
Stay tuned in months to come for pages and videos that will discuss the major credit card families.
